Persons for the office of Chair and Vice Chair must be members in good standing of both ACJS and ASC. This is because we have critical criminology members in one organization but not the other and there is a move to enfranchise ALL critical criminology members.

If you are, or know someone with high energy, a passion for critical social change, strong organizational acuity, strong interpersonal skills with the utmost compassion and sensitivity to different viewpoints think of serving our division. In terms of service commitment, the most significant positions are the Chair and the Vice Chair.  The work of the Division in these positions is certainly doable; however, it must be balanced against teaching and research expectations of one's institution.
